Read the text on Apple Daily website * 蘋人誌:我是猶太人—文頴恩 * 相約文頴恩到猶太教莉亞堂拍照,平日任影唔嬲,但到安息日免問。安息日不能「做記號」,拍照留影屬於這類別。 的士內坐着四名乘客,後座三人以外語交談,的士司機好奇問前座會說廣東話的香港女士:「他們說的是甚麼語言?」女士回答:「猶太語,他們是猶太人。」司機聽罷即說:「猶太人嗎?我覺得希特拉當年殺他們不夠啊,現在他們都控制世界很多地方的科技發展和經濟,例如美國的華爾街……」 這位女乘客不慍不火的打斷他:「他們兩個是我兒子,旁邊是他們的祖母。為何你會說這樣的話?」司機當場目瞪口呆,女子繼續說:「南京大屠殺也有很多中國人被日軍殺害,若有人跟你說日本人當年應該再殺多些中國人,你會怎麼反應?」的士一直走到目的地,司機都沒有多說半句話。 KO的士司機的女子名叫文頴恩,土生土長香港華人,她婚前信奉了猶太教,成了猶太人。 撰文、攝影︰Billy Ho 位於羅便臣道的猶太教莉亞堂,有106年歷史,屬一級歷史建築物。 文頴恩跟前夫的猶太結婚證書,像一幅畫。 文頴恩廿多年前愛上一名在港工作的以色列男士,拍拖三年後,二人決定結婚,為了跟他結婚而改信猶太教。猶太教義規定,男女二人必須是猶太教才能通婚。單是入教前的準備,又花了三年。「三年又三年」,文頴恩笑着說。 準備入教的三年不至於無間地獄,但也有不少繁複的事情。那三年文頴恩要跟隨拉比(Rabbi,即猶太教的智者、老師)學習猶太教歷史和教義,學習猶太人的規矩。 飲食方面,肉類不能跟奶製品一起吃,文頴恩因此不能再吃喜歡的芝士漢堡和肉醬意粉。兩種食物也不能一起煮,烹調過肉的器具,要用熱水煲過或用火燒過才可再用來烹調奶製品。由於過程繁複,文頴恩和很多猶太教徒一樣,家中都有兩套餐具和烹調工具,分別處理肉類和奶製品。「租屋也要留意廚房有沒有兩個鋅盤,方便分開清洗兩套餐具」。她稱有些人更會有兩個雪櫃和兩個焗爐。 文頴恩的畫室分租了一部份給一位外國藝術家,左邊的畫是租客的作品。 進入kosher 超市也要拍猶太會會員卡才能開門。 安息日39件不能做的事 放進口裏的肉,也要經專業猶太方式屠宰。猶太教義規定要用快速方法殺死動物,減少牠們的痛楚。肉類以至所有其他食物,都要經過嚴格猶太教認可的處理方法,才適合教徒吃,是之為「kosher」,即符合猶太飲食規條的意思。 文頴恩買食材,只能到猶太人的kosher超市,香港也有好幾間,食物包裝上全都要有認可的kosher標籤。記者跟她走過一趟kosher超市,裏面所有食物都有認可標籤,「連魚膠粉都有,因為要確保製作過程中沒有加入豬骨」。是的,猶太人是不吃豬的。「那三年學習遵守教義期間,拉比來我家家訪,將我雪櫃內沒有『kosher』標籤的食物統統扔進垃圾桶」。 食品要符合kosher猶太飲食規格,還不能在安息日生產。超市內連M&M朱古力都有kosher標籤,代表朱古力肯定不是在安息日生產的。 猶太人十分重視每周一次的安息日,每逢周五日落至周六日落是安息日,所有人都要休息,有39件事情不能做,其中之一是點火。那安息日的晚餐怎辦?「通常在安息日前煮好,放在保溫的裝置內,例如低溫焗爐,或者低溫電熱板上。」電器電掣會產生火花,安息日期間不能開關,兩種電器都是預先開機,然後待安息日後才關。 乘電梯按掣也不可,因按掣會產生火花。虔誠的猶太人回家,要請看更幫忙按掣。「看更不是猶太人,是可以的」。每逢安息日,以色列虔誠地區如耶路撒冷,酒店電梯會自動每一層都停,不用客人按任何掣。「酒店的門鎖平日用電和拍卡開門,安息日前,住客可以去前台換傳統鑰匙」。安息日就連車也不能開,因為壠動引擎產生火花,所以在以色列的安息日,路上汽車不多,也少有舖頭開門,比香港的農曆新年靜得多。 … Continue reading
